well the good news is that none of the large birds or jets bit it that weekend.
there were crashes but mostly on the small planes and all exept the one were repairable.
I would say that the P-38 that crashed was a serious loss, even more so than the Christian Eagle. The P-38 cartwheeled into a chain link fence. The President of our club almost had to run for it as it hit at his pit site.
