The 60 size is a little more forgiving and easier to see. I recently tried a Sig 40 size Kadet which has a span close to most 60 size ARF kits to use as an intro plane after helping a new pilot with one at the field. This plane does come out a bit on the tail heavy side. Plan on using an Irvine 53 as it will also be used with floats.
