Hello,

I just got g3 and I have been enjoying playing with what they have there. But unfortunately none of the planes are anything like what I own. I currently have the ParkZone J-3 Cub and I was hoping to be able to somewhat recreate what the plane is like to fly. I've been thru the editor and it is very complex. I am very new to the hobby and I just don't have the information needed to customize one of the existing planes to be similar. I just spent $250 on the simulator and I can't afford to buy any of the add-ons right now. I know that the J-3 is in one of the addons as a gas engine plane.

I have tried tweaking one of the planes but in the end it never has enough power to get off the ground. Any help in figuring out how to recreate the plane would be great

I have also ordered the ParkZone P-51 which is due in June. I have also attempted to recreate that plane in the game but again I have not been able to do so. I've gone with the size engine and battery that are listed and scaled it down so that the wing size is roughly the same but it still does not fly. I tried to remove the landing gear but I could not figure out how to make a hand launch version of the p51.

I have not tried to fly either of the planes yet in real life. The J-3 is still in it's box and I don't have the p-51 yet . I want to get some time with something similar in the sim before I try to fly it in real life. I do have some flying experience. The current plane that I'm flying is the HobbyZone Firebird Commander and I'm pretty good at flying it in 5-7mph winds.

So far I'm enjoying the sim but any hints on how to successfully create a recreations of these planes would be a huge help to me.
