I Have the rambler with a side mounted saito 72. I love the way the plane fly’s. It is a smooth flyer and fairly fast. I love using the retracts plane looks great with them up. But I have gotten very frustrated landing on our grass field with it as it likes to nose over. I have been flying lately with the wheels bent forward and have not used the retracts however I do want to start using the retraces again. I had to replace my retracts once and wm sent me a new pair but with thinner wire so they bend fairly easily. Correct me if I am wrong but I think if I move the cg back just slightly it will help with landings. I probably have about 40 or 50 flights on her.
