Err .. maybe not

There was a news report a while ago that the "standard kilogram" (a platinum bar held by France) is believed by some scientists not to actually weigh a kilogram! Apparently most countries have "copies" of this bar to be used as a reference - and they are all wrong as well.

So we can all blame the French for getting it wrong yet again
