the P-38 was repairable and as i understand is already back in the air the pilot lifted his gear too soon on take off and the prop hit the ground and that caused the crash as only one prop broke causing the plane to roll.

The Christian Eagle apparently went full right rudder and full right aileron and with the low altitude there was no time to respond that was a beautiful plane that i heard was scratch built and not a kit. this is what was left of it on the field.
