predator500...I'm not clever enough to visualize your problem. I use Great Planes adjustable engine mounts on most of my sport planes. They work well and they come in sizes from a .20 engine to a 1.20 engine and they have holes for a nose gear if desired. The prices vary from $3.99 for the smallest to $7.99 for the largest. The one you would want for an O.S. .46 is $4.49.
