Default RE: Firefox Compatibility

I am one of the Mozilla users. A Los Angeles radio station call in show recommended it. Works better than I.E. for us poor dial-uppers. The estimate about 10% of the internet visitors using it now.

Came from two other forum places today. They seem to have youngsters doing their work.

One place they converted everything to white text on black background. After visiting a topic, the highlighting feature is too feint, and due to contrast cannot tell if you were there or not. They also set all text up to read margin left, with no wrap around. Yes, if there is a paragraph, you have to pan and pan to read the lengthy sentence. Then go left to pick up the next paragraph.

Other place altered the size of their Icons, aviatars etc. What used to fit onto 2-3 pages, now takes ten. There, you have to keep panning down and down after opening it up.

Boy fellows, change colors and text, but don't change the visiable elements. Not all of us have DSL and 20 inch flat panel monitors.

We don't mind the add in advertisements. It is a part of running a site. I would object if you increased the size of the boxes or frames to each forum, such that what used to fit onto a screen does no longer. Keep it compact, concise and able to fit onto one page if possible. Lets us take a quick visit and then leave. Opening it up for other readers.
