Default Alternative to Tamiya DMD Unit
I recently purchased this ESC/Receiver combo on ebay for $60. It is a 4 channel receiver with ESC specifically designed for tank ops. It is 27Mhz and I just put it in my Tamiya 1/16 Sherman. It runs great, pivots just like the DMD T-01 from tamiya. Not only is it cheaper but it was an easy setup as well. Search ebay and you will find this. Tak Po Electronics T-2000 is the model.
