I am nearing completion of my Great Planse Ryan STA-M......finally

. It is powered by an OS120 to which I added a 90 degree exhaust adapter to tuck in the engine/muffler neatly inside the cowl. One problem: the exhaust pipe is touching the side of the cowl. I have tried adjusting the exhaust pipe but can't seem to get any clearance between the exhaust and cowl. I'm concerned that once the OS120 gets up to operating temp, it will ruin the fiberglass and consequently the finish. I have read on this Forum how others are running the same engine in their Ryan's. With the flying season rapidly approaching, I want to get this project done and airborne. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Ed
