I have a Ryobi with the short shaft and I sheared the key on the flywheel. The key is made into the flywheel. I have another Ryobi that has a long shaft that has shot bearings. Can I take the long shaft out and use it in the short shaft case? I could then use the flywheel from it that has a replaceable key. How would I get the short crank out and the long shaft in without ruining the bearings? Also, is there any way to fix the sheared key on the flywheel? I have it on with some loctite right now, but would like to have something to keep it in place.
