gjeffers.......The paint that I used on the nova is PPG flat black tractor implement paint. It can withstand 1200 degrees, gasoline and it dosent chip or get scratches. It cost about 150 bucks a gallonand it has 3 gallons on it. I have had it thru lots of brush and all kinds of trees and you just wash off the scratches with water. I like it, but it sure gets hot in the Texas summer sun!
