Gws1, in re. to the reed V block...is that a special type of reed valve or are you referring to a twin cylinder Cox engine arranged in a V configuration?still a twin right?
What I'm advocating is a flat twin using 2 regular Cox crankcases both with regular flat reed valves with a Y-branch (out of aluminum or brass tube) where both crankcases are fed by a single carb and where the cylinders fire alternately (180 degrees apart).
