Derek8819, your problem sounds to me like a bad switch or battery/switch combo like one of the other responders mentioned.

If you are close to Ryan Gonsoley (my Cajon spelling is off tonight) or Philip Obree (spelling) up in New Iberia, give them a call. They are pretty good at this and could possibly come down and help.
