But look at the difference in the intake system too. Even when a reed valve is open there is a blockage right in front of it and it's the reed itself. The charge has to split and go around the reed so there is no clear path. That's no even taking into account that the poor little reedie is breathing through a .081 hole in a BlackWidow. As for reed material a number of big mouse 1 racers have said they like the stainless reed the most.
