Hi JM, 2 tiny reeds would be more responsive than one bigger one, but I'm not sure which angle of entry is best. I have always thought the exhaust ports should be fore and aft and the intake tracts port and starboard, but I don't know what the difference is. It just seems that my strongest runners were arranged like this
