all saito 150,180 and ys 140 are over kill the best engine is a ys 110fz on yamada 20/20 fuel and that is enough power not over kill or under power
and whats the point of making the plane lighter if you are over powering plane there is no point atol.

Saying that they are overkill is off base. Yes, they are more power than needed, but it is not more power than could be desired.

Keeping the plane light is a KEY factor in plane performance, regardless of power source. No use in putting all the power in if the plane will fly like crap due too high wingloading.

Thats my take...
