yes, the SPA cut-off is 1/1/76. However. I have a note from someone who flew with Jim in Caifornia that he designed and flew it before 1975, so I need to confirm this with Jim. I've ordered the plans from RCM and I've bought the MAN issue (go e-bay) with both the construcion article (9/78) and a later one with a Bridi kit review.
