all traxxas boats (nitro or electric) have adjustable surface piercing props (direct drive)

they just have different motors

for the speed control (if you don't have one yet) use the speed control from the villan ex
( a water-cooled version of the E-maxx EVX 14 v ) you could still use it on your aplication although some mods will need to be made.

you will need to change the two battery connectors into one by connecting the two red battery leads with a suitable connector
and the two black leads too.

repeat the same with the motor leads .
