I have the newer version with a os 46la on it and she flies great. That engine will give you enough power to get out of most trouble. 8 loops and can do more but got board. The only thing is the alerons response is slow that it can barely roll. But this is from a guy who was flying the sig Kobra with a K&B 45 sportster on it. Had to come back slow before I brought her out of the hanger
