All manufacturers and all servo types have some form of a failure rate. We, as consumers, will never be told what the rate is. No big deal. If you receive a bad servo from any of the manufacturers, generally the standard process is to return the servo to the manufacturer. With JR products they would be returned to Horizon Hobby and I can rest assured that you will be provided excellent service. Give them a call and you will discover that first hand.
As far as who the best is concerned, I've had bad luck with brand X, a friend has has bad luck with brand Y. I've had nothing but great experiences with brand Y, he's had great experiences with brand X, so who do you choose?
