If you want flaps and ailerons I think the perfect 2nd airplane would be an Ultra Stick. They are a blast to fly and alot of fun playing with the flaps. They will slow down if you need to but will also open up to be wild when you are ready. Withe a small headwind and the use of those flaps you can fly it backwards! It will take you from trainer to advanced flying. Best of all, the ARF is relatively inexpensive and it is available in a 40 size and 60 size!
