Lucas Vallejo. Nicest fellow in the world, he spent a ton of time(and yeah...the money) on this bird. Had about 50 flights on it when it went in, he suspects interference, it was a radio problem of some sort. There are a lot of interference problems out at Floyd Bennet sometimes. Even the engines are trashed. Ouch. And it took a few days to even find the wreckage.
Lucas, being the stand-up guy he is, took it well, and he is working on another of the same.
