I Am currently busy building a BUSA Piper Cub J3 1/4 scale, but the rebel I am, I like to do things a little different. I Have decided to convert this kit to the military version Grasshopper. I Am still at the very beginning stage, so I can still do the necessary alterations. I Do however need lots of advice, pictures and general input from the experts out there before I start. Any detailed pictures of structural changes and whatever advice will be appreciated. Photo shows my friend Hein's copied version of my kit at early stage. In the meantime he has finished his, fitted an OS 1.20 Four stroke and flew it a number of times already. Hein is not impressed with my intentions, "a Cub MUST be yellow" he says. I Firmly disagree. Please help me to prove him wrong!
