OK, the first thingy is the flywheel. It is what allows your engine to idle so nice and slow and smooooothe. Best to leave it on. You could always fly without the front half of the spinner (or no spinner parts at all for that matter) if you want to use the 2 blade props. The other 2 backing plates are definitely 2 blades units as you already know.
