My friend built one that looked just like that. After years and years of flying it and soaking it on floats and everything else, it came time to retire it. He didn't quite know what to do with it, so we made floats out of some old sticks and hung it at the lake. After a few years, he decided it was time to bury it. He walked it over to the pit fire one night after dark and set it in the middle. It was such an awsome site. It actually sat there for a long time, and then the fire got to the oil soaked wood inside and it burned from the inside out. Looked way way cool.

Kind of hated to see it go, but thought I would mention it. Was a good plane and looked great in the air for many years.
