Here are some pics of my BUSA L-4 conversion. I have a photo pac and just used them and scratchbuilt the canopy. The BUSA uses sticks and I had to improvise a little but it will look good when it is done. The dowel in the pics is 3/8 and structural. The ends of the dowel are mitered and tapped and threaded together with 4-40 rod and then epoxied and tied into the main structure. The whole thing is solid. Even with this, the struts will be functional and mandatory. Any questions, let me know.
