The radio gear we put into these $10,000 plus jets is the weak-link in this hobby. Even the best Tx and receiver are not much more sophisticated than what comes in a $30.00 RC-car from Toys-R-Us. Until we get a UHF band or some sort of frequency-hopping system we're really pushing our luck. This is not high-tech stuff. It's 1960s technology.

I'm not sure we can count on our fearless AMA leaderships to push for these anytime soon.
