I have owned both the TT GP 42 and the O.S LA 40, and I personally must say that I thought both were pretty descent little engines that served there purpose well. Neither were big powerhouses, but that is not why I bought them. Both were extremely dependable for me, and I had several tell me that, so that is why I bought them. Honestly I can't ever remember having had a deadstick with either. So it really surprises me that either of these engines would be a topic of discussion in a "WORST ENGINES" Post.
