Piper Chuck, that's a good post and a pretty accurate assessment of the workings of a few key players on this site.

My personal feelings about the OS LA line, having set up quite a number of them for newbie student pilots now, is that they are one of the best engines "for purpose" available, if that purpose is to fit to trainers, provide adequate, reliable, quiet power and durability while burning very little fuel.

The guys with LAs in their trainers tend to spend very little time faffing around with their engine and can concentrate on learning to fly.

I think OS ought to be be congratulated for providing such a fit-for-purpose engine at such a competitive price.
