Default RE: How's this for a second plane

Newb,
Take a small piece of advice and spend the extra money and get Monokote, please don't buy the towerkote. You'll be kicking yourself for years if ya do. I tried it once to save a few bucks and wound up tearing off and redoing the coveing in Monokote.

That's not to say that Towerkote isn't good for anything at all. The tubes that the covering is rolled around are great for storing dowel rods in!!

Honestly though, it'll be worth it for you to spend the extra few dollars on the Monokote. I understand about being on a budget, and I applaud you for saving your money to get what you want. Here are a few tips that might save another buck or two. Check locally for your CA and Epoxy. We have a Hobby Lobby here in town (not Hobby Lobby that sells RC stuff, but Hobby Lobby that sells craft items), and I can buy Epoxy for $3 less than at Tower, and I can buy 6 oz CA for the same price of a 2 oz bottle at Tower (although I switched to Elmer's Carpenter's glue now and 2 oz of CA will last me a year).

Looking over your list don't forget to get wheels, spinner, and props. If you already have them at home great, just trying to help.
