****Yes it will fit straight in you have to change nothing**** most .21 engines will fit the hyper range, i have since owning my hyper 7 changed the standard 4 port for a rossi .21 circuit then to a pro uk boost...no difference with the engine mounts only the rossi has a shollower crank case so it was eating starter wheels but no strengthening to the clutch or spur gear is required...i hope this answers your qeustion,

The Pro runs the SAME diffs as the TQ, UNLESS you use the optional Torsen, the PRO UK runs Spiders for all 3 a standard. The 4 port is the better engine for longevity but the 8 port is a little faster with the same gearing. But it IS a straight swap. The only difference is the liner.
as for others i am quite familiar with all versions in the hyper range i was simply trying not to go into too much detail as described later in the post...

so would i be able to just take the 4 port out and put the 8 port in its place? all the stuff you mentioned just confuses me. and i probably wont sell the 4 port, best to have a spare. this is just an idea at the moment. i dont even have the hyper 7 yet
...and i was actually talking about the grade of material that the clutch bell gear(pinion) and the spur which is attatched to the diff housing and explainig that the gear need not be strengthened, as the original qeastion was aimed at and anyway the pro r comes with centre torsen diff as standard
