Good point, my instructor was retired and since I'm self employed I learned during the week when basically no one was at the field and you could maximize your learning time...

anyway my instructor had cards printed that had his name, AMA number, and phone/cell number so you could call to see if he could meet you there (he lives 2 minutes away which helped) and call to see if he was already there.

Worked well.
