Try it in rate mode. Heli should hover solidly, with only a very little weathervaning if enough Xwind. Weathervaning should be about equal with either side presented to the wind, and should stop when fuse is aligned with the wind. If the heli wants to rotate in one direction regardless of Xwind, and tends to keep going around 360 (even if slowly) you need to adjust the link to achieve the above. A small error is easily masked by the gyro, but makes the servo work overtime, and can limit travel when in HH.
