HEADS UP GENEROUS FOLKS...........THERE IS A DARK SIDE TO P.I.F. !

For 3 months I followed the DESPERATE PLEAS in these Forums of a youngster who wanted to have a plane and a glider .
I provided both a Trainer and a Glider, both NIB complete with engine + Radio
A Club was researched, an Instructor was provided, a training person was found for Glidering.
After JUST ONE FLIGHT the young man writes that he will no longer do "glow" or "gliders" but will just concentrate on Electrics.

This POST serves the purpose of advising the" generous hearts" that DEEP RESEARCH and EVALUATION of the selected GRANTEE should be seriously attempted in order to not WASTE precious resources and even wads of MONEY on ungrateful, superficial, immature,mostly mindless dreamers. Remind them also that this part of the Hobby demands great dedication in TIME, MONEY and EFFORT. That it is NOT a casual five minute enterprise. Doing otherwise is just a total waste.
