while i agree that it was pretty wasteful, you dont suppose he decided that he could not afford to maintain a glow motor or that he simply did not like un-powered flight? you will never know until you try...
you should ask him to donate back what he will not use to PIF.

i appologise, it completely slipped my mind. before i went to install all the radio gear you gave me, i wanted to make sure that i would have a buddy box available at my club that could opperate with a JR master, and i regret to say that it was just recently i was able to make it up there, (for the first time in at least 6 months. we had had winds and rains and i was forced to go to a public field instead) only to find out that the JR buddy box no longer works, and i can't find the trainer cord plug on the century 7. the problem is that our club is primarily futaba/hitec, so i fear i will be unable to use the TX/RX that you gave me, although the servos are universal, so i can use them. I will give it a couple more months to see if their buddy box is replaced/repaired, but if not i will probably end up donating it back to PIF. I appreciate your generousity, and appologise that i was un-able to put it to use as i had hoped, although there is still possibility.
