Weight? Ah, I dunno! Hadn't even thought of it , Let me go check here. Looks like a hair over 8lbs. I did add a bit of tail weight in the back of the air scoop.
Bob, you know you ought to get Dub to redesign or make some kind of an "add on" to change the direction of the exhaust from blowing straight out all over everything to a bit of an angle. I know they make those plastic/rubber deflectors but they look bulky and stupid.
Overall, this was a definite thumbs up on the plane. Maybe next flight I'll try the flaps.
Nice to see things worked out nice. Not too bad at 8 lbs...... looks like there is pleanty of wing area.
Actually, at the toledo show Dub and I threw around a few ideas for an exhaust deflector that looks better that the rubbers. The trick is coming up with one that stays on properly, and still permits some directional adjustment.
