I can not remember who who posted these pics but myself and snortonlstrules did it this way. You can also take out the bottom left gear with out puting a spacer in. To block the holes I used a 4-40 flat head screw through some Losi fuel tubing with a 4-40 lock nut. When you tighten the to together it pushes out the fuel tubing and makes a great plug.
