RE: sub micro servo on dominator 500
As Jan said those park flyer servo are only going to cause grief. By far the most cost effective and popular set up for any Quickee even .25 powered ones (sometimes referred to as 'Slo Quickee' some locations race this set up) is Hs 225 on all surfaces and not metal gears. The throttle is usually HS85. Even HS 85's on surfaces is not enough particularly on ailerons, save the grief.
You will love the airplane but do yourself a favor and get an appropriate flight pack and enjoy.
Some thoughts on first flights. If you are using Quickee gear and tail skid, All take offs are done at full throttle fully spooled up with someone doing a release for you. Doing this makes t/o very easy but a slow throttle up t/o as in a sport plane will result in the purchase of a lot of props among other things. Landings are always easier deadstick and this is the normal way to do it. Landing with a idling engine always causes problems. Deadstick this type airplane is very easy to land. Always start out with low throws typicallty the throws are far less than an ordinary sport airplane.
