RE: sub micro servo on dominator 500
HS-85 metal gear servos should be able to handle it up to a certain point. If you aren't actually racing, I'd say they are fine. They are rated at about the same torque as most basic standard servos.
I run them in my combat planes, which are a little smaller and not nearly as fast as a pylon ship going full tilt (My fastest hits a tad over 90 on a radar gun. Fast, but not pylon fast). But we pull harder in the turns and are generally rougher on our gear.
The only issue might be in the mounting, those servos only use 2 screws, which just is not as solid as a larger servo that uses 4 screws.
I might use a 225 on elevator and an 85MG on aileron (single aileron) or one on each aileron for a duel setup. You could probibly use HS-81MG's if you use duel aileron servos and save a little cash.
