Congratulations MountaineerFan36, you were indeed fortunate to be able to survive under these conditions. You MAY be one of the few naturals that come into the hobby or may have just been very lucky so far. Joining a club is not mandatory but you will meet a lot of nice people that will share ideas and stories with you (over and over some times) and help you progress in the hobby.
