Normal flight direction is left to right - the wind usually comes out of the south. Yes, you can fly on Friday and yes there is a gate and unfortunately it is locked. I'll have Adrian Wong head out to the field early enough on Friday to open the gate so that you'll be able to get some flying in... early is a challenge for Adrian, but I'll do my best to get him there in the morning some time.
