I think that is a very valid point. If the supervising teachers had seen a danger to the children the show would have been stopped. So there must not have appeared to be inherent danger to the kids.
Granted what he did wasn't the smartest thing ever done, but then again far from the most stupid. Its done, no one was harmed and 100 little kids had a day to remember. I'll also add that I belive if a pilot can capably fly 3D they have alot of control over their aircraft. How often do you see a pilot of that skill dumb thumbing in? Im not saying that you have to be a 3Der to be a good pilot either I'm just saying that most 3D pilots can appreciate the limitations and capabilites of their plane better than most.
I say well done who knows he might have just inspired 100 more RC pilots.
I hope to fly at my clubs show in August where the crowd averages 2000. Cant wait.
