In short, the box the plane comes in and how it is packaged, in particular the way the fuse is held with square carboard tubes, when I got mine the outside of the box was ok. The fuse had moved in the tube holes and tore them. This lead me to think that the box had been handled pretty roughly and that GP ought to take one of the boxed planes and subject it to the kind of handling it would get from a shipping co. Is that any clearer? This reply is in reference to all the damaged planes mentioned in this forum.
