YESTERDAY went out and took GLIDERS up ... we do about 10 lifts with each tank of fuel. The CARRIER uses the Magnum .80FS with a Graupner 12x8 prop and works very efficiently for this particular set up
previous POST showed a close up of the system, this one a more general view.
I personally love this particular phase of the sport.
I am also able to operate BOTH the carrier and the GLIDER from take off to landing for both planes....*provided there is no wind to prevent excessive glider drift away* .... with a breeze, I stand a spotter next to me to prevent loss of glider.
