Kaos.... Great job... Yeah the UCD is a real floater, Landing and
ground handleing are great and she flies so easy...
On the rudder... My used (one crash/repair) UCD flies true, no
rudder trim needed for stright flight, Same with or without the
cowl... Maybe for some reason the engine thrust is off or
something else is out of alignment??? Or maybe it was just the
wind???? I'm sure you'll get more answers from others..
The airframe appears to be very straight and the engine mount has a very obvious right offset to it. The left yaw I saw today could possibly have been due to wind. I guess one 5-minute flight isn't enough to get it fine tuned, but I'm sure happy so far!
