RE: First 3D plane
Profiles are a good start, There a bit cheaper, plane and equip. and
they take a bit more abuse while learning... OMP, EF and swany's
planes are good... I was going with the profile, But I got a great
deal on a used U-Can-Do 46 with a YS63... I'm glad I got it!! This
plane is a real floater, ground handleing and landing are as easy or
eaiser than a trainer and she flies good even with it's long tail, snaps
and such looks a little different.. But as with most "3D' planes they
will not take much abuse if not landed good on it's wheels....
There are a few threads here on RCU... Check them out and see
what might suit you and help in your choice....
Oh... As with any 3D plane what ever you choose, You want to buy
an engine in the upper listed engine range, Better yet a size or
two higher.... IMO.... 4 strokes fits the bill best.... & keep em lite..
