Default RE: Marutaka 1/8 Corsair

Nice to see you using the bell cranks, all aircraft but especially Corsairs especially benefit from light wing tips. The full scale used fabric on the outer panels for a reason, and it used bell cranks too!

Is that wing center section staying straight? I glued my wing to the table at the center section and at the tips with small pine blocks. I made sure the wing was level by shimming up the rear sub spar, then gluing the spar and the shims to the bench. Notice that I used 2 pine blocks to hold the wing straight at the outer panels.

Notice the extra pieces for the flaps, these will help the flaps to retain there shape when you cut them off the wing. Then in the last picture you can see how much of the wing is sheeted before I removed it from the bench. By the way this is the wing for my F2G Corsair, only change is the oil cooler intakes. Also notice that it has scale aileron hinging and actuation.

Great work so far, keep it going!
