The mad doctor bows to the superior wisdom of the Guru LOL. If you notice among the first few posts, Luke, I mentioned I might use individual servos for the ailerons and flaps, but then read in your thread that wingtips should be kept as light as possible, so I promptly threw the idea out of the canopy and went back to bell cranks for both ailerons and flaps. Thanks again for your advice.
Is that wing center section staying straight?
Again, I borrowed from your thread and instead of glueing the wing to the table (it actually is my research table

) I tacked the relevant parts with big pins. Surprisingly, the ribs and spar come together to give a natural washout to the wingtips that is exactly equal on both sides. This is one of the things that truly impressed me about Marutaka kits.
Notice the extra pieces for the flaps, these will help the flaps to retain there shape when you cut them off the wing.
Hoo Boy!!! Wait till I get to the part where I started making flaps. Make sure you're seatbelted into your chair, or you'll fall off laughing. Let's say for now, my parts box has 3 sets of flaps for the Corsair, all rejected. I can give them away for free.
Awesome work on your F2G thread. I can just shake my head in admiration.
Great work so far, keep it going!
Thanks again, Luke, means a lot.
