Default RE: what engine to get to replace old torq .12

Yeah, the torq .12 in my maximum st is pretty much gone too. There's about zero compression left. So I decided to replace the engine. I managed to pick up a savage's .21 big block in very good condition for $36. To install it, it was just a matter of swapping the 2 speed clutch bell onto the .21, then position the engine just right, then drill some new engine holes in my chassis. I got the engine bolted in and it lined up very nicely. I used some original servo rods and some metal wire to fabricate myself up some custom servo linkage and did a mod to the exhaust manifold to get everything to fit right and now I'm good to go. This thing goes like crazy compared to the old tired .12. Now on pavement from a standstill it can burn out the tires quite nicely! I love it! My only problem is the stock fuel tank doesn't last as long as before! I can upload some pics if you're interested.

Edit: and oh yeah, I have not been going easy on it at all and the drivetrain is holding up great.
